3D Printing Offers a New Way to Manufacture Hydraulic Manifolds with Greater Operational Performance
3D printing can be utilized for manufacturing hydraulic manifolds which are lighter, smaller and more functional than conventionally manufactured manifolds. A case study of re-designing a hydraulic manifold led to 72 % weight reduction compared to the original model. The solution reduces power loss and hydraulics noise in machines.
Welding opens new possibilities to utilize 3D-printing in industrial applications
