PoDoCo program bring postdocs and companies together accelerating the co-creation and cross-disciplinary collaboration. PoDoCo project pushed lightweight vessel forward
Ingrit Lillemäe-Avi investigated the fatigue strength of high strength steel with Meyer Turku under the PoDoDo program. The results show significantly improved fatigue strength of this innovative steel pushing lightweight vessel forward. Ingrit is now employed by Meyer Turku and continues the research work with the aim to introduce high strength steel in vessel structures.
